Each year Citadel sponsors a networking night for young women studying STEM at the Grace Hopper Conference. From directional signage to interview questions, we applied Citadel’s straightforward, ambitious, and confident tone with a chess theme to honor the keynote speaker, Judit Polgár. The goal? Inspire these gifted STEM students to dream big.

Interview
The main feature of the night was a fireside chat with the greatest woman chess player of all time, Judit Polgár. We wrote interview questions that wove together Judit’s pioneering experience in the male-dominated chess world with Citadel’s commitment to taking smart risks, while offering young women advice on navigating STEM careers.
